Transfer a Domain to Techpullers
Most transfers complete in 5–7 days and add a year to the registration. Your website and email keep working throughout.

Before you start: a 2-minute checklist
- Unlock the domainat your current registrar (turn off "transfer lock" / "registrar lock").
- Get the authorisation code(also called EPP or auth-info code) from them.
- Check the contact emailon the domain is one you can read) the approval email goes there.
- Make sure the domain is more than 60 days oldand hasn't been transferred in the last 60 days (ICANN rule for gTLDs).
- Note your DNS recordsor let us copy them. Transfers don't change DNS, but if your old registrar also hosts your DNS, we'll recreate the records here first so nothing breaks.
What happens
- You enter the domain and auth code, and pay the transfer fee (which includes a one-year extension on .com, .net, .org and most gTLDs; .in transfers are free but don't add a year; .ae and .com.au follow their registry rules).
- The registries exchange requests. Approval email arrives at the domain's contact address, click it to speed things up; otherwise most transfers auto-complete in about 5 days.
- The domain appears in your Techpullers portal with the same DNS records. Nothing on your site or email changes unless you want it to.

Will my site go down?
No. DNS is unchanged; we copy records if your old registrar hosted them.
Will my email stop?
No, for the same reason.
Can I transfer a .in?
Yes; .in transfers are free and quick but don't add a year.
Can I transfer a domain that expires this week?
Renew it first at the current registrar, then transfer. Transferring an expired domain often fails.
What if the transfer is rejected?
Usually a lock or a wrong auth code. We'll tell you what to fix and retry at no charge.
