Our cPanel hosting runs on servers at our data centre in Gravelines, France, on a cPanel, LiteSpeed, Apache and CloudLinux stack. Backups are stored off-server on off-server storage boxes in Germany or Finland, so a server failure never takes the backups with it.
We would rather be straightforward about this than put a flag on a map. For a typical business website in India the added latency is tens of milliseconds and is invisible once LiteSpeed caching is on. If you run a latency-sensitive application, talk to us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
If your current host uses cPanel, we move the full account: files, databases, email accounts and existing mail, DNS zones, SSL certificates and cron jobs. You check the copy on a temporary URL first.
Only when you approve do we switch the nameservers, and your old host stays live until DNS has propagated. Done this way there is no downtime. Most single-site moves are finished within one working day. Migration is free for one site on Launch and for all sites on Grow and Scale.
