Off-Page SEO Services — Build the Authority Google Trusts

Suppose your website has everything in place. The on-page is fixed, the keywords are in, there is no keyword stuffing, no black-hat techniques, the technical SEO is done properly, there are no crawl errors, and the Ahrefs audit is showing a good score. But the rankings still aren't improving. That is when you have to look at the off-page side of your website.

Get Free Backlink Audit

Checking your off-page starts with your DR and UR in Ahrefs or Moz, then comparing your link profile with competitors ranking in the first four positions; the backlink gap is the specific set of backlinks your competitors have that you do not.

A backlink to your site from a relevant site is, for Google, like a token of appreciation. The more relevant backlinks you get from relevant sites, the more trustworthy you look, your page rank and domain rank improve, and Google starts placing you on the first page. Backlinks, even today, are a very important factor in deciding where your website ranks.

At Techpullers, an SEO company in Kerala, we do off-page as per Google's guidelines. We do not use black-hat techniques to gain backlinks and we do not pay for backlinks. We earn and acquire them, by talking to relevant webmasters connected to your business, by tracking down your competitors' backlinks and figuring out where the opportunities are. We do it the hard way, because it takes real time and effort from a person. You can read more in our guide on advanced link building techniques.

Our Off-Page Work

What We Actually Do

Competitor backlink analysis

Before we build anything, we go through your competitors' backlink profiles in Ahrefs, see who is linking to them, and work out where the gaps and the opportunities are. There are different methods to find where a backlink can be earned, and that is where we start.

Backlink outreach and guest posts

We conduct outreach regularly, though the specific frequency is not publicly confirmed in available sources. Replies come only once in a while, that is the honest truth. But when a webmaster does reply and likes the pitch, we create the content with the client's help. Most of those sites come with their own guidelines, and we follow them one by one and make sure the content meets every one of them. Then we send it over, by email or whichever way they prefer, and if they are happy with it, they publish it and you get a link back. We may use HARO (Help A Reporter Out) if opportunities arise.

Social profiles

We build and optimize branded profiles on major platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, though this specific service detail is not confirmed in available search results for Techpullers.

Video, forums and the rest of the search results

Google no longer gives you one list of blue links. Search anything now and you get Short videos, Forums, Images, News, Shopping and the map pack, along with the AI answers. If you can be found across all of those, it is a very good thing, and that is off-page work. Short videos in particular can generate a lot of clicks, so we optimise on YouTube and on Instagram reels and shorts too.

Take a simple search like “running shoes for women”. Look at where Google actually sends people:

Short videos

Forums

Images

Shopping

Maps local pack

Your competitors are showing up in the reels, in the Reddit and Quora threads, in the images, in the shopping listings and on the map. That is why social profiles, video, forums, reviews and your Google Business Profile are not “extras”, they are where the searches are actually being answered.

Google Business Profile

For a local business, the Google Business Profile is very important. We use the primary keyword along with the related and secondary terms, and we post a lot of content there. Most of our clients end up ranking on the first page of GMB, so when people search for something nearby, they find them. We have got good results for a lot of clients just from this.

Directories, citations and reviews

Which directories we go for depends entirely on your business, your sector, and what your competitors are doing. If it has nothing to do with you, we don't list you there. But if you are a local business, directories are definitely something you have to work on. We create and optimise the profile, and we ask you to get reviews from your own customers, because people rely on reviews and directories to judge a business. And now the AI platforms are reading those review sites and directories too, to see what people are saying about a business or a service, and that is feeding into the AI overviews. So it matters for AI SEO as well.

Answering real questions

We answer the questions people are actually asking about your service or your products, on platforms like Quora and Reddit. But we always check the answers with you first and take your input, because you know your business, and that is how we prepare the content.

Anchor text

We don't just build exact-match anchors. That is spammy, and Google now treats a pile of exact-match keyword anchors as spam. Most good websites and guest post sites wouldn't even allow you to link back with an exact-match anchor. So we keep the mix natural.

Toxic links and disavow

Before we pitch a site for a link, we check its spam score and why it has one. There are a lot of sites out there whose whole purpose is to manipulate the web, and we do not want backlinks from those, so we avoid them at all cost. Backlinks are important, but they have to be done carefully, because under the latest Google updates spammy backlinks can drop your rankings. We also never pay for link schemes.

And at the very beginning of a project, we go through your existing backlink profile, link by link. We check the spam score, we check how relevant each one is, and if a link has no business being in your profile, we disavow it in Google Search Console. Toxic backlinks can damage your rankings and your visibility, so this is one of the first things we do.

Client Stories

Results

Australia

OzClean

OzClean, in Australia, is a client where backlinks really made the difference. The niche was brutal, the competitors were aggressively chasing links from everywhere, and the search volume was around 8,000 a month. We did the off-page work for them and they ended up at the top of the first page for terms like bond cleaners in Gold Coast and bond cleaners in Sunshine Coast. It was very tough, but it worked.

India

Rishikesh Yog Nirvana

Rishikesh Yog Nirvana came to us with a backlink profile full of spammy links built by their previous company. They used to rank, then their rankings started dropping and they had no idea why. The content was good enough. But when we went through their backlinks, there were so many spammy ones. We disavowed most of them, and the site is now bringing in organic traffic again while we watch how the keywords perform.

India

Olive Builders

Olive Builders is a well-known brand, but their name, address and phone number were not mentioned properly across the directories, and the details were inconsistent everywhere. We had to track down each directory, call them one by one and correct it. It took a lot of time, but it improved the site's visibility as a whole. See the Olive Builders case study.

To be clear, backlinks are not something we do for one or two clients. This is what we do every month for every client on an SEO contract. More in our case studies.

The Difference

Why Choose Techpullers

Most agencies get off-page wrong because they do it the easy way. They take backlinks from irrelevant sites, or buy comments on forums, or dump some content on Medium that wasn't even written properly, just churned out by AI. And a lot of them simply buy backlinks. That is what most companies around India do, they buy links from sites owned by people whose only purpose is to make money from webmasters trying to lift their domain authority. Those are spammy sites and it is not recommended.

Here in Kerala you also see agencies stuffing AI content and building piles of backlinks with the same exact-match keywords. A site like that might rank for a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, and then it starts declining. And that is exactly when the client comes to us, confused, because their keywords, their on-page and their technical SEO are all fine, but their backlink profile looks spammy, or they bought links, or they used far too many exact-match anchors, and all of that damages the site's visibility.

We don't do that here, and I can promise a client that. We go for good directories, sites like Clutch, and mentions on platforms like Reddit and Quora, because a mention there is now enough for AI to choose you over your competitor. We earn links by pitching properly and writing genuinely good content to the other site's guidelines. And we never buy a link.

Questions

FAQ

What is off-page SEO?

Off-page SEO is everything done outside your website to build authority, mainly backlinks, plus social media profiles, Google Business Profile posts, directories, listings, and mentions from reputable sources related to your business.

Do you buy backlinks?

No. We never buy backlinks and we never pay for link schemes. Most of the sites selling links exist only to make money from people trying to lift their domain authority, and they are spammy. Bought links can get your rankings dropped under the current Google updates.

Is link building still important?

Yes. Backlinks are still one of the most important factors in deciding where your site ranks. A backlink from a relevant site is like a token of appreciation to Google, and the more relevant links you have, the more trustworthy your site looks.

Can you clean up spammy or toxic backlinks?

Yes, and we do it right at the start of a project. We go through the whole backlink profile link by link, check the spam score and the relevance, and disavow anything that shouldn't be there in Google Search Console. We've done exactly this for clients whose previous agency left them with a spammy profile.

Why does anchor text matter?

Because too many exact-match keyword anchors look spammy to Google, and it can pull your rankings down. Good sites won't accept those anchors anyway. We keep the anchor mix natural.

How much does off-page SEO cost?

It starts at ₹25,000/month, and from ₹50,000/month for competitive industries that need aggressive authority building. Every engagement starts with a free backlink audit.
