Abate Eye Hospital Digital transformation
Overview
We partnered with Abate Eye Hospital, one of Kerala’s leading super specialty eye care providers with branches in Calicut, Perinthalmanna, Kannur, and Chennai, to refresh its digital identity.
Our goal was to create a platform that reflects the hospital’s clinical excellence, heritage, and accessibility, while strengthening its reputation as a trusted name in advanced eye care.
The platform was designed to serve two primary audiences:
- Patients & Caregivers: seeking advanced treatments such as cataract surgery, LASIK, cornea transplants, glaucoma care, and pediatric ophthalmology
- Hospital Administration & Staff: needing a scalable, trust building digital platform that aligns with their mission and future growth

Our Design Thinking
We started by stepping into the shoes of patients and caregivers, mapping their journey from first discovery to booking an appointment. Along the way, we uncovered three key pain points: establishing trust, finding the right specialty, and making the process of scheduling care simple.
To solve these, we streamlined navigation, highlighted Abate’s clinical expertise, and brought forward patient friendly services like home eye care.
On the visual side, we built a modular, two tone design system that balances clinical professionalism with warmth. Custom content blocks for specialties, branches, and patient testimonials to make the platform easy to update while keeping the look consistent and reliable.

In the end, we delivered a digital platform that feels both trustworthy and approachable, built around the real needs of patients and caregivers.
