Abate Group of Institutions A Digital Transformation Story


Overview
We worked with Abate Group of Institutions, a prestigious Kerala based education network with a legacy of more than two decades. Known for programs in optometry, architecture, interior design, fashion design, and business studies, Abate runs campuses in Perinthalmanna, Calicut, Kannur, Coimbatore, and Chennai, bringing together 1.5K + students, 80+ faculty, and 3.5K + alumni.
Our collaboration focused on rebuilding their digital presence to better serve two core groups:
- Prospective Students & Stakeholders: exploring programs, campus life, and career opportunities.
- Institution Leadership & Faculty: seeking a credible, scalable platform for recruitment, branding, and community engagement.

COLOUR
Our Design Thinking
We started by mapping out what really matters to Abate, student aspirations, academic interests, and institutional strengths. That helped us spot the key design challenges like presenting a wide range of programs, highlighting their long standing legacy, and making exploration across the site effortless.
To bring this vision to life, we focused on:
- Clear Communication of Programs: giving courses like Optometry, Architecture, Interior Design, Fashion, and Business Studies their own visual spotlight.
- Showcasing Legacy and Scale: celebrating milestones such as 20+ years of legacy, 1.5K+ students, and 3.5K+ alumni.
- Experience Driven Engagement: weaving in student life, clubs, social initiatives, and campus events to show the vibrant community.
For visuals, we used a dual toned, modular design system balancing academic depth with user friendly flexibility. This way, the site feels grounded in heritage but is easy to evolve as new programs and events are added.
